Archer

Context-aware document redaction

Tell Archer what must not be shared.

Archer Redact finds personally identifiable information across documents, applies the context and exclusions your team describes, and brings every proposed redaction into a collaborative review workflow.

The workflow

Documents become a reviewable binder.

Archer combines document context, plain-language instructions and team review before a flattened export is produced.

Open the documents

Choose the documents that need redaction. Text-heavy and image-heavy pages are processed through the workflow, and the documents are indexed into a binder.

Describe what to redact

Tell Archer what must be removed in plain language, including exclusions such as keeping one person’s details while finding equivalent PII belonging to everyone else.

Review together

Archer places findings against their source context. Team members can highlight, comment, mention colleagues and decide which findings are redacted in the flattened export.

Context-aware review

A finding stays connected to its source.

The document and right-hand review panel work together. Selecting a finding returns the reviewer to the relevant page and context, while comments and authorship remain attached to the highlight.

Private cloud deployment

Archer runs in your cloud environment.

The application and data plane are deployed inside the customer’s cloud environment, with the customer controlling identity, private connectivity and security policy.

  • Private application accessArcher can be deployed without a public application endpoint and reached through the customer’s private network path.
  • Customer identityMicrosoft Entra and customer-managed group assignment control access to the application.
  • Private data servicesDocuments and application data use customer-cloud storage and database services with private networking.
  • Flattened outputSelected redactions are burned into the exported PDF rather than left as removable annotations over live text.

Built for controlled document work

Redaction for teams handling sensitive records.

Archer is suited to repeated review of forms, correspondence, case files and scanned records. It is already used in IVF document workflows where context and careful review matter.

Context-aware instructions

Describe both the redaction requirement and the exception instead of building a brittle list of rules for every document set.

Collaborative review

Multiple team members can work in the same binder, leave comments and track which findings will be included in export.
